lil girls

its been awhile :)

got a text this morning that made me smile like a cheshire cat.. aidan has arrived :) you have no idea, how much Ive been looking forward to today :) heheh.. im not very good with children in general, but theres something about ones family...

I have three nieces who are sisters.... the first one has the vocabulary and knowledge I would have never expected of a 6yr old.... the 2nd one, is the vainpot :) and also suffers from verbal diarrhoea.. the third one, is the adventurous one... but one thing I really love about them is they love to eat :) hehehe.. note, they arent obese... they jst have really healthy appetites... :) this makes it a joy to take them out... i love food, thus they make perfect eating dates :) trust me when i say they know their restaurants... a yr ago i brought out my eldest niece...
we're driving through g town
niece, 'aunty *, do you like me...?'
me, 'huh, of course i do....'
niece, 'centrept do the nicest mee you know....'
*me going 'ahhh, you meant mee not me...'
we drive further along
niece, 'do you like chips?'
me, 'yea, I do'
niece, 'well they have the nicest chips' (pointing at the golden arches)
we continue driving
niece, 'do you like ice cream?'
me, 'err yea'
niece, 'there are two places to eat icecream in the mal*.... etc etc...'

the conversation evolved along that nature, I was really impressed that a 4yr old was telling me the best places to eat particular dishes... we ended up at a popular sushi place, and she even knew how to order there... i was in awe at this point at this 'mini adult' and her knowledge of food....
its amazing what you can learn from them... as an aunt, i have the right to be bias :) but you have to agree with me on this one... my eldest niece knows her food :)you can jst imagine what shes like now that shes got an extra 2yrs under her belt :) i miss my lil girls :) i cant wait for the day i get to take aidan out to eat :)

enjoy your week :)
