today i had one of the crappest visit ever... part of my SSC was to visit the Radiology department, specifically the MRI section... It was timetabled to take an hour. And the whole thing only lasted a mere 15mins!!! PEDAH ah!!! sigh...
Most of the time was spent on telling us to be safe.. IE NO metal things on ourselves.. no jewelleries, no belts, no keys etc... Because if we did.. then there was a possibility for us or the metal object or the both of us to travel towards the magnet at a speed of 30mph at least!!! That didn't happen to any of us today...
However, we got to do an 'experiment'. We held a key (which was attached to a string)... and as we got within three feet from the opening of the machine, the key just went FORWARD and was literally pulling my hand!!!
Anyway, the MRI visit could have been more interesting. They could at least scanned one of us, or show us a patient being scanned or show us more MRI images/pictures... BOSAN i tell u...
